day 1

OSH – SARY-MOGOL

Transfer: 220 km / 4–5 hours Altitude gain/loss: +461 m / −115 m Departure from Osh at 08:00. Transfer to Sary-Mogol village along a scenic mountain road. On the way we cross Taldyk Pass (3,600 m) – a historical section of the Great Silk Road. In favorable weather conditions, the first panoramic views of the Pamir-Alay Mountains and Lenin Peak open up. Upon arrival – lunch. In the afternoon, a light acclimatization hike through wide mountain valleys. Along the route you can see yaks, sheep, goats, horses and, if you're lucky, wild animals. Meals: lunch, dinner Accommodation: Pamir Nomad guest house Amenities: Wi-Fi, electricity, hot shower
day 2

SARY-MOGOL – SARY-MOGOL PASS (4,306 m) – YURT CAMP

Trekking: 15 km / 8–9 hours Altitude gain/loss: +1,059 m / −859 m After breakfast, transfer to the start of the route and start trekking. The first part of the path passes through rocky terrain and sometimes requires physical effort. From the viewing points, wide panoramas of the Pamir Mountains open up. Lunch – by the river against the backdrop of glaciers. After lunch – ascent to Sary-Mogol Pass (4,306 m), from where impressive views of alpine lakes and the group of lakes Besh-Köl open up. In the evening – arrival at a yurt camp at an altitude of 3,600 m. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: yurt camp
day 3

KYZYL-SHORO – KOSH-MOYNOK VALLEY

Trekking: 19.4 km / about 8 hours Altitude gain: +866 m Altitude loss: −1,596 m The route mainly goes downhill. We cross mountain rivers several times, and the landscapes gradually change from harsh highlands to green mid-mountain valleys. In the village of Kyzyl-Shoro, we have lunch in a family guest house with the possibility of using a hot shower, electricity and the Internet. After lunch – ascent to Kosh-Moynok Pass (3,210 m) and descent into the valley. Overnight in a yurt camp at an altitude of 2,800 m. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: yurt camp
day 4

SARY-BEL PASS – KOZHO-KELEN VILLAGE

Trekking: 24 km / about 9 hours Altitude gain: +1,299 m Altitude loss: −1,095 m Ascent to Sary-Bel Pass (3,132 m), from where picturesque views of the Kichik-Alay mountains open up. Then the route passes through an impressive gorge with red rocks, known as the 'Gorge of Three Dragons'. In the village of Kozho-Kelen – lunch and the opportunity to use a hot shower and the Internet. In the evening – arrival at the Jiptik yurt camp at an altitude of 3,050 m. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: yurt camp
day 5

JIPTIK PASS (4,185 m) – DARBAZATASH VALLEY

Trekking: 16 km / about 8 hours Altitude gain: +1,150 m Altitude loss: −931 m One of the most impressive days of the route. From the Jiptik Pass (4,185 m) breathtaking panoramic views of the Pamir Mountains open up, and in clear weather Lenin Peak is clearly visible. After descent – accommodation in a yurt camp at an altitude of 3,274 m. If desired, it is possible to move to the nearest village with more comfortable conditions (hot shower, internet, guest house). Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: yurt camp or guest house
day 6

SARY-MOGOL – TULPAR-KÖL – TRAVELERS PASS

After breakfast, transfer to Tulpar-Köl lake. Accommodation in the Pamir Nomad yurt camp at the foot of Lenin Peak at an altitude of 3,500 m. Hike past climbers' base camps and ascent to Travelers Pass, from where some of the most impressive views of the Pamirs open up. Picnic on the pass and return to camp. Camp amenities: • free Wi-Fi • electricity (2–3 hours in the evening) • hot shower • outdoor toilets
day 7

SARY-MOGOL – OSH

After breakfast, transfer back to Osh city. End of the tour and farewell to the Pamir-Alay Mountains.

Booking conditions

A 30% prepayment is required to book the tour. The remaining amount is paid 30 days before the start of the tour.

Requirements for participants

Participants must have experience of multi-day hikes, good physical fitness and be ready for 6-9 hour transitions per day with a backpack.

Weather conditions

Weather in the mountains can change quickly. It is recommended to have clothing for different weather conditions. The tour may be adjusted in case of adverse weather conditions.

Ecology and sustainable tourism

We follow the principles of ecological tourism. All waste is removed from the route. We ask participants to follow the 'Leave No Trace' rule.
