Day-by-day program
Meeting with the guide and Pamir_Nomad driver at your accommodation in Dushanbe. Departure towards the Pamir. Drive through scenic valleys and traditional villages. Crossing the Shurabad Pass (2200 m) and visiting the ancient Khulbuk Fortress (8th century), recently restored. A local guide will tell the history of the fortress and the palace complex. Arrival in Kalaykhumb in the early evening.

Drive along the Panj River, which forms the border with Afghanistan. Observe the contrast of life on both sides of the river. Continue from Rushan to the breathtaking Bartang Valley. Arrival in the village of Khijez.
